Eragon...my way!

I'm bored and have decided to mock L and R's recasting of Eragon. (although I do agree with you that movie seriously needs better actors, and actresses.)

Thus:

Eragon:
Because he can look all confused about magic better than the other dude.

Aria:

She's the complete opposite of Aria thus making the character easy to kill off right L?

Rorin dude:

Comic relief, unlike the boring Roran chapters in the book

Murtagh:

Hahaha:P
Brom:

Come on...you know he would have been awesome as Brom.

Galbatorix

I'd like to think Galbatorix is suave...and hunts for sunken ships in africa

Durza:

Evil in its purest form

Continuation Part III

Arya...Zoee Deschanel? I could picture it, sorta. I like yours too but I dont think I've seen her in any movies...

Roran...James Franco from Spiderman? Mmmhmm. I could picture it sorta.

Continuation of L's post

Jake is edgy and...AWESOME!!! Safe to say he is PERFECT for the part. And yes we need to think of another girl for Arya, how about Kat Dennings?

Lucas Till??? IDK...Is he too Hannah-Montana-ish for the serious part? I was thinking more on the lines of Liam Hemsworth,

And not just Because I LOVE his accent :D

Orrrr Chris Egan! Or would he make a good Roran....?

I think anyone would be better than the hillbilly-blond they picked out. What do you think?

Eragon: The Movie, Take II

While T and I have long ago rewritten the entire plot of Eragon to suit a better scheme of awesome twists and evilness and dramatic death scenes of characters we hate, me and R were discussing the horrible movie Eragon. While the plot wasn't altogether awful, the actors sealed its doom with their blase acting skills and mediocore looks. Eragon was a country bumpkin, Murtagh was a punk rocker, and Arya was a lovesick strawberry blonde. What the heck is that nonsense?! So, without further ado, me and R will now discuss who should have played these characters.

Murtagh - this one is incredibly obvious. Murtagh in the book was edgy and.. ummm R knows what else and I don't want to sound like a screaming fangirl on this blog. To say the least, Jake Gyllenhaal matches it. And in this pic, he's even pale-ish! Yippee! :D

Arya - this one is difficult and I'm not totally sold on the whole Liv Taylor thing since she's just SO Lord of the Rings and it's hard to see her being mean. R - we may need to think of a different person.

Eragon - okay, so originally cast with some nobody "Ed Speelers", the movie faillleedd. So, I think what it needed was a little pizazz. R, I forgot who we were deciding between, but I found another option (Lucas Till). Tell me what you think. :D
